Knowing about Fishery - Catch for a Living

Interested to pursue a career that is away from the run-of-the mill or a little offbeat? Here's Fishery which will have you see a lot of activities starting from catching, processing, marketing and conservation of fish. It is an academic discipline that involves an understanding of all of these.

As a first, you would need a combination of Biology and Pure Sciences to pursue further studies in the field. Fishery science can etch out aqua culturist, breeders, traders and exporters. It is indeed a booming business today. Fishery science uses sophisticated technology for its purpose and advancement. Skilled personnel are required in the field to understand and drive these technologies for the development of the field. Fisheries Science can be studied at the graduate and postgraduate level and offer numerous career avenues. Employment in public sector organizations is quite regular.
