Patna University in a fix on revised pay to 132 teachers by Vicky

Patna University (PU), the authorities are correct. While the Court stopped the Patna University from taking any enforcement action against 132 teachers will be absorbed in a distinct status of some decades back, HRD Department recently directed the university does not pay the salary of these teachers PayScale revised.

Shambhu Nath Singh PU Monday Rector led the financial advisor and the registrar of the university to talk to the principal secretary of human resource development and seek a clear directive in this regard.

Talking to a delegation of the Patna UniversityTeachers' Association, the VC said the salary arrears of DA in July and August with 16% from July to December 2010 is paid to university staff in a week. He regretted that the payment can be done before the Eid festival Teej and due to lack of availability of government subsidies.

VC clarified, it has not taken any steps so far to obtain university teachers assessed their students. The University would welcome just some teachers who are role models for students at the Teachers' Day on September 5. He assured the delegation that the pending cases of promotions of teachers will be deleted immediately.
