After chandrayaan found water on moon,the scientists are hopefull that the long cherished dream of humans(to settle on moon) will soon be a reality.I recently saw on television that many people have even bought a piece of land on moon online(Iam not joking).

It so happened that the batchmates management also acquired a huge chunk of land there and then decided to honour its fellow members by gifting each one of them 600 sq.feet of land at a reasonable rate of 10,000 Rs.A function was arranged one evening and they decided to handover the "certificate of ownership" to members in exchange for a demand draft .They also arranged a spaceship and decided to take the members for a free ride to moon (So that they can inspect their piece of land) ,soon after the function.The members were called on stage and given the certificates in exchange for the DD.Members were even allowed to speak a few words on the occassion.

On the day of function:

All the seats were occupied by excited members but then two seats remained vacant.Venkat and me (durgesh) were missing.

Arun was first called on stage.He submitted the DD and received the "ownership certificate "in return.The audience clapped."Whether its sun or moon ,it doesnt matter to me .Iam happy to own a piece of land in the outerspace" he remarked.His short speech was followed by a thundering applause.

Next on stage was kanak.She delivered a beautifull talk on "The advantages and disadvantages of human settlement on moon".The audience was highly impressed ." kanakji ,you are the best"screamed priyanka. "Kanakji Iam your fan"screamed Braj.

Next came leela.She was extremely happy and just couldnt control her excitement.She went on laffing and laffing.SHe couldnt believe that her dream of owning a piece of land on moon had finally succeeded.Jayasree just couldnt understand what was so funny about it.It was just like any other business deal ,she thought.

Shekhar was called next."I will sell this piece of land for more than double the price and make big money,thats how a sharp person should always think. " he remarked."That guy is so intelligent" Jaya whispered to kirandeep.

"still there is no sign of venkat and durgesh,Iam worried " Abdul whispered to Gt.Some poeple in the audience started getting worried about venkat's absence.

A masked man seated in the front row was silently observing the proceedings.Many in the audience grew suspicious and curious about his identity.Even though he was masked ,Aneet believed that the guy was in his friends network.Dolly wanted to forcibly take off his mask but then pradeep conviced them that there was a 'need to respect his anonimity',which calmed them a bit.

The masked man was called on stage and he silently took the certificate and without a word returned to his seat.

Shreekumar was called next on stage.He revealed that he was extremely dumb and couldnt understand why everyone was so excited about going on moon ,when they were already settled happily on earth.His speech divided the audience.Some believed that he was far more intelligent and others believed that he was actually dumb.

Next was Dina.As soon as she took to stage the masked man who was observing silently till now got up and started shouting "Dina Dina..." surprising everyone.

"Iam so excited ,friends.My next blog will be titled 'The moon'."she declared.

"Dina ,dina...."The masked man cheered again. "She is his favourite blogger" jaya whispered to leela.

Next Aneet was called on stage.He quizzed everyone about the moon , the Indian moon mission and the technical aspects of chandrayaan.Shekhar and kirandeep emerged winners.

"I dont trust the water found on moon ,Iam carrying my own water bottle " he said before leaving the stage.Instantly,Some people headed towards the canteen to purchase mineral water bottles.

Shreeram was called next."We will play cricket on moon.I have even prepared my team and Iam carrying a bat and ball with me" he annouced ."Shreeram,shreeram" the crowd cheered.

Chandralekha was called next.She critized the management for giving everyone such a small piece of land."Even my storeroom is bigger than this "She remarked

One after the other every member went on stage and spoke.Then venkats name was called out but then he was still missing.many people were now worried and tried calling him but then his phone was switched off. Then my name was called out and I also was missing.But then nobody was bothered .They believed that 'I might be flirting with some girl in a nearby park'.

At the end pradeep was called.He had requested the management that he would speak only in the end after knowing everyone's response. "Vande mataram " he shouted, infusing patriotism into the audience. "vande mataram" the audience responded.He resloved to unfurl India's flag on moon.

The function ended.And all the members entered the spaceship one by one.Two beautifull looking "Air hostess" escorted the members to their respective seats.They were "Sweety" and another "pinky".Sweety was hot and sexy while pinky was beautifull and cute.Since me and venkat were missing, the batchmates management decided to sell the tickets for those seats ,in black, to outsiders.But then Venkat's seat was reserved by his Fans.After waiting for 5 minutes the pilots started the engine.When the spaceship was about to take off jaya noticed(through the window) me and venkat running towards it and alerted the pilot.We managed to sneak into it just in time.

"WHat happened? " everyone asked venkat.

"He had applied for a housing loan (Inorder to purchase land on moon and construct a room ) in my bank. It took sometime to complete the formalities". Venkat clarified.

"Poor boy" remarked a member. "Thanks to venkat he got the loan on time " remarked another.

I was eager to occupy the seat next to Dina but then it was already occupied by the masked man.Since venkat's seat was still reserved he happily occupied it ,teasing me articulately.

I stood there alone in a corner when a sweet voice addressed me "Sir,kindly join us in our separate cabin.Even though it can accomodate only two people lets manage somehow " said sweety.My face lit up instantly.I entered her cabin and then the door closed.

"umaaaah ,moooooaaaah,umaaaaaah..."These strange noises emanating from the cabin made others curious dring the course of the journey.The spaceship landed safely on moon and the next day a huge photo of the batchmates unfurling the Indian flag on moon was published across newspapers worldwide.
